Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AWS Specialist to design, deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-effective cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
  • Deploy and manage applications and services on AWS.
  • Configure and manage EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, Route 53, and Load Balancers.
  • Monitor AWS infrastructure, applications, and system performance.
  • Configure backups, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
  • Implement cloud security, access controls, and IAM policies.
  • Monitor and optimize AWS resource utilization and cloud costs.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application-related issues.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment and operational tasks.
  • Work with development and DevOps teams to support application deployments.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Maintain technical documentation and cloud architecture diagrams.
  • Ensure AWS environments follow security and compliance best practices.

Required Skills

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services.
  • Good knowledge of EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Route 53, CloudFront, and ELB/ALB.
  • Understanding of AWS networking and security.
  • Experience with Linux/Unix administration.
  • Knowledge of Git and CI/CD.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch.
  • Understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, VPN, and networking concepts.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
  • Knowledge of ECS, EKS, and Docker.
  • Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, or AWS SysOps Administrator will be an advantage.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • AWS certification or relevant cloud experience is preferred.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple cloud environments and priorities.
  • Strong attention to security and operational reliability.
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new cloud technologies.
